Under-Graduate Programme - Ayurvedacharya - BAMS



Introduction:

The Under Graduate Programme of BAMS is of 5½ Years duration. After passing BAMS, the Students undergo a 1 Year Internship in various Subjects as specified by CCIM. The total seats available per year is 92 out of which 1 Seat is reserved for Central Govt. nomination, 2 for foreign nationals sponsored by ICCR, 10 for South-East Asian Countries, 10 Seats for Girls and reservation for SC, ST, OBC and PH as per Government of India norms.

Mode of Admission:

Admission to BAMS Programme was made by University on the basis of the Merit of the Admission Test conducted by it. Notification for the Entrance Test was made by the University on all India level in Newspapers and also on its Website. The Notification of the University was also posted on the Website of the Institute.

Admissions:

During the year 2015-2016, 90 Students were admitted to the BAMS Programme. 2 Seat remained vacant due to non-availability of candidates from South-East Asian Countries nominee. 3 Students from Nepal and 1 Student from Bhutan were admitted.

Fees :

Fees for the BAMS Programme is Rs.42,025 for First Year, Rs.28,650 for the Second Year, Rs.27,650 for the Third Year Rs.38,500 for the Final Year. The Hostel Fee, in case of allotment of Hostel on availability, is Rs. 7,500 per year for 3 years and Rs. 11,250 for the final year.

Stipend:

A Stipend of Rs. 12,684 Per Month is paid to the BAMS Students during their one year Internship.
