Short Term Courses For Foreign Student



Introduction:

Institutes runs various short term certificate courses for foreign nationals of both medical and non medical background for authentic knowledge about Ayurveda. The common course modules are Introductory Course on Ayurveda, Condensed Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Herbs for Health, Ayurvedic Diet and Life Style, Yoga for a Healthy Life, Panchakarama, Ksharasutra & other para surgical procedures of Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Cooking, Ayurvedic Beauty care, etc. The candidates are taught by expert faculties of NIA with practical exposure to patients. These classes are arranged on demand basis and the minimum batch size is 5-8 candidates per batch and the maximum being 20 per batch. NIA does not provide lodging and boarding facilities for these candidates. The candidates after completion of classes have to appear in a test at the end of the course. Successful candidates are awarded Certificate . Functional knowledge of English is required or else the candidates have to come with an language interpreter at their own cost.

Admissions:

The duration of the course varies from one week (25 hrs.), 2 weeks (50 hrs.), 1 month (100 hrs.) and 3 months (250 hrs.).

Fees :

The Institute charges approximately US$ 300 per week of such classes.
