In supersession to all earlier Office Order on the subject, the OBC Cell is hereby re-constituted to resolve all the affairs and problems related to the OBC students and staff of the Institute as below with immediate effect.

DUTIES:
To educate, enlighten and empower the students and employees of OBC categories n the Institute of make use of the facilities extended by the government and other agencies for there educational & occupational career
To implement monitor and evaluate continuously the reservation policy n the Institute and plan measures for ensuring effective implementation of the policy and programmes of the Government of India.
To collect data regarding the implementation of the policy in respect of admissions, appointments to teaching and non-teaching positions in the institutes/universities and analyze the data showing the trends and changes towards fulfilling the required quota.
To organize the Continuing Education Programmes (CEPs) for students, researches, teachers and non-teaching staff of the Institute to update their knowledge and skills.
